Message	Save $4,000 on the purchase, drop $10,000 on the swap, and you still only have a few minor advantages. I wouldn't count the shocks and boost gauge as an advantage. If you're keeping the stock shocks on an NA, odds are they're made of Jell-O by now, and if you're upgrading, you're no better off than you would be with a stock TT (costs the same to buy the same set of coilovers). Same thing with the boost gauge. Buying a new one is buying a new one, weather you're replacing a useless one, or getting one because your car didn't come with one. I see your points, but I still don't see buying an NA to swap as having an enormous advantage over just picking up a TT.
